Steering Racks are built with Nylon cups.
These cups work fine when using your car in 'normal' conditions, but we've seen them failing in more extreme use, such as motorsport or even on cars which are used on bad roads (loads of potholes don't help)

Our customers have asked us to find a more robust solution instead of Nylon.
These cups are exactly that. They're made out of the highest grade Phosphor Bronze to the exact same dimensional specification as the original nylon parts.

A word of warning however.
We recommend to check the condition of a steering rack before deciding to replace the cups.
We've often seen racks in which the inner bearings were worn. These bearings cannot be replaced. The only way forward would be to replace the complete steering rack if such a thing occurs.
